Jobst Bittner is the founder of the globally active TOS Ministries, which encompass social work and community development in twelve nations.
He is also the initiator and president of the “March of Life” movement, which has already spread to more than 400 cities in 25 nations.
The verse from Romans 12:11 — “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor” — remains to this day the central guiding verse for his ministry.

When Jobst and his wife Charlotte came to Tübingen as a young married couple more than 30 years ago to pursue their studies, they did not plan to settle in the city long term. But God had other plans, and out of joint prayer with other students a vibrant church ministry emerged. Over the years, they developed what is now the work of TOS, with its local, national, and international branches of ministry.
